African Rail Evolution is a niche event, featuring pioneering maintenance and rehabilitation best practices. High-level networking, panel discussions and case studies will address the latest trends and techniques in maintaining tracks, rolling stock and equipment to put African rail back on track. Here we will be deep diving into the future capabilities of railways in Africa in order to enhance trade corridor development and cross border trade among African countries.

The event will be attended by representatives of government; freight rail operators and companies; large industry, i.e. mining and manufacturing; international organisations and the private sector.

African Rail Evolution is strategically co-located with the 6th annual African Ports Evolution Forum attracting over 2000 participants from Africa’s ports and logistics sector – giving delegates even broader access to organisations that can facilitate trade continentally.
